Health Effects of Illegal Drug Abuse

Abusing illegal drugs can deteriorate the main three parts of your health, physical, mental/emotional, and social. Legal consequences may also result in your fall from the top to the bottom of your life.

Lately teens have been abusing not only drugs, but illegal drugs. They must not know that illegal drugs can cause even more harm to their health than legal drugs. Over the years the use of cigarettes by teens have decreased, but the use of illegal drugs, such as marijuana, by teens has increased.
Teens abusing illegal drugs make great impacts on themselves, their family, their friends, and their community. When they abuse the drugs, they do not think that it is harmful  because in their mind its a psychological  desire. They think that they need it to function properly. There are different ways that the teens abusing drugs could impact their family, friends, and community.
  1. You may steal from your family to buy the drug that you are wanting.
  2. Since you are harming your health, you will have your family worried sick about you.
  3. Your family might isolate you, because they may feel shamed of you doing drugs.
  4. Friends will not associate with you, and you will feel left out, and may be forced to join that wrong crowd.
  5.  Your community will act rudely to you, because they do not want you influence their families to abuse illegal drugs.
