-Startled- Inks

Inks for the pencil drawing I posted last. I like inking in shadows instead of shading them in with other colors...its just my preference and I like how it makes the white space pop out more. I tried to keep the girl almost completely white space while add lil grimey details to the faces of the monsters just to symbolize purity in my eyes whilst this is in inked form. I may either try to inkwash shade this or shade it with prismas in black and white but if i do it with prisma's I'm most likely not going to go over it again to do it in color :3

-Startled- Pencils

Hey hey folks. Just posting some pencils of a new piece before I begin adding some last minute details and inks. This pic didnt start out as a thumbnail so the composition and layout isnt as strong as I wanted. The idea behind the picture itself is the way you can be intimidated by your audience like you're some sort of animals being dangled as bait to the beast. The monsters are dragon things with rams horns for eyes and feelers on their nose for seeing in the dark, as they spawn from the shadow in the background. They have their mouths open in more mocking sense than a hungry sense. The woman isnt supposed to look frightened either, just startled because of the sudden shift of solace to a mob of beasts hissing around her. Almost like the paparazzi swarming a celebrity I'd say... So yeh... It's just .05 lead pencil on 11 x 17 paper. Prolly gonna ink and marker it... So you'll either see the super pencil detail or the penwork next. Lata peeps :3

A Beginning

Heyo to all and welcome. Most likely if you're reading this or even found this blog then you probably know me from the internet, school, or etc. This blog was specifically made for me to post in progress steps of pictures I'm working on, be they traditional or digital. I'll probably also post story ideas and concept art and such. Feel free to poke around and comment as well. There's no specific timeline for updates so check back often and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
